System Design and Installation Overview

  1. Telephone conference with Client or Client's agent to determine need and scope of work.
  2. Initiate a Design Consultation Contract.
  3. Meeting with Client to determine desired features and establish a budget.
  4. Work up preliminary design and preliminary budget.
  5. Review and Sign off meeting with Client.
  6. Initiate System Design Contract or System Installation Contract depending on the scope of work determined during Client meetings.
  7. Meeting with General contractor and Sub contractors to determine schedule and get exact equipment listings.
  8. Begin Final System Design.
  9. Prewire of control system, telephone system, network, etc..
  10. Continue final system design work, review program logic and TS design.
  11. Survey prewire prior to sheetrock and finish.
  12. Finalize system features with Client.
  13. Purchase control system Hardware.
  14. System software design finalized, programming started.
  15. Set up and burn in system hardware at shop prior to install.
  16. Final trim work completed on site, all sub systems installed and operating.
  17. Install control system hardware on site.
  18. Finalize control system software on site.
  19. Walk through with Client, provide preliminary user manuals.
  20. Month later return and fine tune control software, provide final user manuals.
